shadynetworks.com is run by Jeff Allen who has over 12yrs experience in the IT industry and has run his own hosting solution for the past 9yrs due to lack of a good low cost hosting solutions elsewhere.

Jeff is the Manager, Information Systems for two private companies located in Ottawa, Canada where he is responsible for the day to day operations of the IS/IT department and is tasked with maintaining various Linux and Windows based services including but not limited too VMWare, IIS, Apache, Windows DNS, Unix Bind DNS, Exchange, Exim, AD, DHCP, SQL, MySQL, PHP, ASP, IronPort Anti-SPAM, Check Point VPN, ProCurve Switches (VLANs, QoS) Nortel BCM, Asterisk PBX and many other aspects of the companies network and server infrastructure including Cisco/Sun/HP/EqualLogic and Dell hardware.

Prior to working in the private sector, Jeff held various contract positions in the Federal Government of Canada requiring Secret Clearance. He was also was part owner in his own company 3Tek Systems where Jeff was responsible for all aspects of the company including sales, vendor relations and was the prime technician for building and configuring all computers, servers and networks.

Jeff graduated from the Business Information Systems program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. He also holds an A+ Certification along with many various training certificates relating to Microsoft Windows networking/ administration/security, Linux systems administration, Asterisk PBX and HP Procurve Networking.
